How EG Group Started

When I arrived in Tokyo in 2017, my family and I began the search for a new home, moving out of our residence in Adachi. This journey opened my eyes to the pervasive discrimination within the real estate industry, particularly against foreigners and low-income families. Despite approaching numerous agencies, we consistently encountered racism and bias. It was a disheartening realization that the system was rigged against those who needed fair and affordable housing the most.

EG GROUP envisions becoming a pioneering global social enterprise, originating from Japan and expanding its branches to Australia, Canada, the USA, the UK, the UAE, and Qatar. Our mission transcends borders, focusing on providing affordable and accessible housing, food, education, and more. We are dedicated to not only meeting these essential needs but also inspiring policymakers and citizens alike to join us in our quest to transform Japan into a more inclusive and welcoming home for everyone.
